摘要: Departure timing of a controlled train is adjusted in accordance with the fluctuations in the flow of passengers into the departure station of the controlled train. This automatic train operation system comprises departure time control means for correcting, based on a predetermined planned departure time of a controlled train and inflow detection information of station users at a predetermined measurement point, the planned departure time of the controlled train and generating a corrected departure time, and reflecting the corrected departure time in a travel plan between stations. The departure time control means includes passenger count measurement means for measuring a number of passengers heading toward a platform of the controlled train at a measurement point located before the platform of the controlled train, travel time estimation means for estimating a required travel time which is required for traveling from the measurement point to the platform, passenger count bottoming out time determination means for determining a time that the number of people who flow into the platform per unit time bottoms out, and departure time correction means for comparing the bottoming out time and the planned departure time of the train and correcting the departure time.
