    摘要: In a broadcasting type information providing system, a moving body 10 includes a bidirectional communication unit 13 which performs communication with an information providing center 21, an information processing unit 11 which communicates request information necessary for a user via the bidirectional communication unit 13 to the information providing center 21 as well as presents answer information with respect to the request information to the user and a broadcast receiving unit 14 which receives the answer information broadcasted from a broadcasting station 22, and the information providing center 21 generates the answer information with respect to the request information being transmitted from the moving body 10 as well as selects a broadcasting station 22 of which service area covers the position of the moving body 10 depending on the position of the moving body 10 detected either at the side of the moving body 10 or at the side of the information providing center 21 and causes the selected broadcasting station 21 to broadcast the answer information, thereby when transferring information from the information providing center 21 to the moving body 10, an optimum communication means and broadcasting station can be selected.

    摘要: A navigation system which can enhance the position determining accuracy of a mobile object without employing any high precision measuring instrument. The navigation system comprises a GPS range measuring device (101 in Fig. 1), an angular velocity measuring device (102), a velocity measuring device (103) and an azimuth measuring device (104), which measure the motion of the mobile object; a GPS range error estimating device (105), an angular velocity error estimating device (106), a velocity, error estimating device (107) and an azimuth error estimating device (108), which estimate errors involved in the respectively corresponding measuring devices; and a position calculating device (109) which calculates the position of the mobile object from the outputs of the error estimating devices. The error estimating devices are implemented by Kalman filters and averaging processes. The factors of the errors of the individual measuring devices are assumed, and the outputs thereof are corrected, so that the position of the mobile object can always be determined at a high accuracy without employing any high precision sensor.

    摘要: The invention relates to a millimeter wave radar (1) that is used for the purpose of automatic operation or collision prevention of a vehicle, it is intended to solve the Problem that a side lobe (8) of a transmitted electromagnetic wave is reflected by surrounding bodies and the reflected wave is received, with the result that unnecessary bodies may also be detected. A layer higher in dielectric loss than a radome (2) or a magnetic loss layer (9) and a conductor layer (10) in a mesh form are embedded in a part of the inside surface of the radome (2), whereby it is possible to provide a millimeter wave radar (1) which is light in weight, excellent in weathering performance, inexpensive, and excellent in detection performance.
