摘要: Disclosed is a vehicle surroundings monitoring device provided with a movement direction determining unit (20) which determines, on the basis of the changes in the position of an object detected by means of a laser radar (8), whether said object is moving in the travelling direction of the vehicle itself or in the intersecting direction which is orthogonal to the aforementioned travelling direction. A classification determining unit (21) executes: on the object that was determined to be moving in the travelling direction, a first classification determination processing in which the object is determined to be a four-wheel vehicle when the size of the object, which is obtained from the detection position by means of the laser radar (8), is within an Al range; and, on the object that was determined to be moving in the intersecting direction, a second classification determination processing in which the object is determined to be a four-wheel vehicle when the size of the object, which is obtained from the detection position by means of the laser radar (8), is within a B1 range.

摘要: Provided is a vehicle (10) in which overdischarge of a battery (24) is protected and turning drivability of the vehicle (10) is improved when there is even a little remaining capacity in a storage capacitor (24) for driving left and right electric motors (22A, 22B). An ECU (26) controls the left motive force (F1) and the right motive force (F2) of the left electric motor (22A) and the right electric motor (22B) so as not to exceed a differential torque upper limit value (ΔTTlmt), which is the maximum value of the difference between the left motive force (F1) and the right motive force (F2) established on the basis of the temperature or discharge limit power (Pdlmt) of the battery (24). When the battery (24) is at a low temperature or the like and the discharge power (Pd) is limited, the difference between the left motive force (F1) and the right motive force (F2) is controlled on the basis of the discharge limit power (Pdlmt), whereby the turnability of the vehicle (10) is improved while preventing the risk of damage to the battery (24).

摘要: Provided is a vehicle surroundings monitoring device. Specifically, provided is a surroundings monitoring device mounted on a vehicle and equipped with: an infrared camera which images the surroundings of the vehicle; a display means for generating a display image on the basis of the image data imaged by means of the infrared camera and for displaying said display image; a calibration means for calibrating the output between the pixels of the infrared camera on the basis of the image data which imaged the surface of a shutter for opening and closing the aperture through which light enters to the infrared camera; an estimation means for estimating the stability of the temperature of the infrared camera from the operating condition of the vehicle; and a determination means for determining, on the basis of the behavior of the vehicle, the likelihood that the driver is viewing the display means. The calibration means performs calibration when it is estimated that the temperature of the infrared camera is stable and when it is determined that the likelihood that the driver is viewing the display means is low.
