摘要: This application provides a satellite communication method and a satellite communication apparatus, to help reduce signaling overheads in a communication process. The method includes: A first satellite obtains a parameter for determining an elevation angle for a departure service of the first satellite in a first serving cell. The first satellite sends first indication information to a terminal device, where the first indication information indicates the elevation angle for the departure service of the first satellite in the first serving cell in which the terminal device is located. The terminal device determines an elevation angle of the terminal device relative to the first satellite based on an ephemeris and location information of the terminal device. The terminal device determines departure service information based on the first indication information, and compares the elevation angle for the departure service with the elevation angle of the terminal device relative to the first satellite, to determine whether to perform satellite reselection or handover.

The devices then add d a first CRC bits on the first interleaved sequence to obtain a second bit sequence, then interleave on the second bit sequence according to an interleave pattern to obtain a second interleaved sequence, and finally polar encode the second interleaved sequence to obtain the encoded sequence.

After receiving the index of the first SSB in the second BWP, the network device determines the third BWP, and performs service data transmission with the terminal device in the third BWP.

In this process, the source gateway station determines whether to switch the gateway station by comparing the quality of the link from the source gateway station to the terminal device through the satellite and the quality of the link from the target gateway station to the terminal device through the satellite, thereby improving communication quality.
