    摘要: Mesophilic methane bacteria obtained from digested sludge are acclimatized in an H 2 /CO 2 medium and the acclimatized methane bacteria are grown on a support inclusive of inorganic nutritional salts of trace metal elements by using an immobilized bed bioreactor. The grown bacteria are allowed to metabolize a mixed gas, prepared by adding hydrogen to at least one of coal gas and biogas, into methane and at the same time, cobalamin contained in the fermented liquor is recovered as an extracellular product in the form of cyanocobalamin by using potassium cyanide to thereby produce vitamin B 12 efficiently in a high content and high yield.

    摘要: An oxidatively destructing apparatus comprises anodes each integrally provided with a conductive oxide on its surface and made of a metal, cathodes of a metal plate to which a noble metal is fused, a first chamber (1) housing the anode (1A) and the cathode (1B), a second chamber (2) housing the anode (2A) and the cathode (2B),a partition (20) made of a porous ceramic or resin between the anodes (1A, 2A), and a rectangular wave discharging device for applying an electric field to the first and second chambers. Polluted water fed by a pump (P1) is made to flow through the first chamber (1) and subjected to the electric field. The supernatant in a settling tank (3) is made to flow through the second chamber (2) by a pump (P2) and subjected to the electric field. As a result, soluble COD, ammonia nitrogen, and nitrate nitrogen are efficiently oxidatively destructed.
