摘要: In a parts mounting apparatus, suction nozzles (16) are mounted on a rotating carrier (3) driven by a motor (4). With rotation of the rotating carrier (3), parts (6) such as electronic parts are sucked by the nozzles (14) at a feed station (7) and carried to a mounting station (9) where the parts (6) are mounted on substrates (8), for example. A counter (24) counts output pulses from an encoder (23) mounted in the motor (4) driving the rotating carrier (3). A microcomputer (20) determines the rotational speed and rotational position of the rotating carrier (3) from the count value of the counter (24). Based on the result of the determination, the microcomputer (20) calculates a timing for delivering a signal for switching the nozzles (16) between two different pneumatic states.

摘要: In a parts mounting apparatus, a suction nozzle (18) is caused to perform a cycloid movement. A part (7) such as an electronic part is sucked into the nozzle (18) at one of bottom dead points of the cycloid movement and mounted onto another component such as a circuit substrate at the other or another bottom dead point. In compensation of the position of the nozzle (18) at the bottom dead point, the nozzle (18) is also caused to perform the cycloid movement. The position of the nozzle (18) at the bottom dead point is monitored by a monitoring camera (70) so that an amount of deviation of the position of the nozzle (18) from the bottom dead point is obtained. The phase of the cycloid movement is compensated so that the amount of deviation of the nozzle (18) is rendered zero. Alternatively, the part (7) sucked in the nozzle (18) positioned at the bottom dead point is monitored by the monitoring camera (70).
