    摘要: Disclosed is a method for commercially advantageously producing 2-isopropenyl-5-methyl-4-hexen-1-yl 3-methyl-2-butenoate with high yield. Specifically disclosed is a method for producing 2-isopropenyl-5-methyl-4-hexen-1-yl 3-methyl-2-butenoate represented by the formula (IV) below which is characterized in that a sulfonate compound represented by the general formula (III) below is obtained by reacting 2-isopropenyl-5-methyl-4-hexen-1-ol with an organic sulfonyl halide in the presence of a basic substance, and then the thus-obtained sulfonate compound is reacted with a senecioic acid in the presence of a basic substance. (In the formula, R represents a hydrocarbon group.)

    摘要: A process for producing (5a,7a)-3-spiro-2'-(1',3'-dioxolan)-24-oxocholest-22-en-7-yl benzoate (unsaturated ketone (I)), which is represented by the formula (I), (I) characterized by dissolving in methanol a crude reaction product which contains the unsaturated ketone (I) and has been obtained in a reaction step, the amount by mass of the methanol being 1.5-3 times the amount by mass of the unsaturated ketone (I) contained, to obtain a solution, adding the solution to water, the amount by mass of the water being 5-30 times the amount by mass of the unsaturated ketone (I) contained, to thereby obtain a suspension containing the unsaturated ketone (I) which has been solidified, separating the solid from the suspension, and drying the solid obtained. The unsaturated ketone (I) obtained is useful as an intermediate for squalamine, which has potent antibacterial activity and anticancer activity.

    摘要: A process for preparation of cyclopropylethanol which comprises subjecting a 3-cyclopropyl-2,3-epoxypropionic ester to solvolysis, treating the obtained product with an acid to form cyclopropylacetaldehyde, and reducing this aldehyde; and a process for preparation of cyclopropylacetonitrile which comprises reacting cyclopropylacetaldehyde obtained in the above process with hydroxylamine or a salt thereof to form cyclopropaneacetaldehyde oxime and reacting this oxime with acetic anhydride. According to the present invention, cyclopropylethanol or cyclopropylacetonitrile can be industrially advantageously prepared at a low cost.
