    摘要: A control valve (40) is provided to be mainly used in a clutch-less compressor of the type in which displacement of the compressor is varied depending on the inclination of a drive plate (17) which varies depending on the crank pressure. The control valve (40) includes biasing means (47,52) that applies force to a valve body (46), a force transferring member (65) that urges the valve body (46) to forcibly open the valve against the force of the biasing means (47,52) and the pressure difference between a crank chamber (3) and a suction chamber (8) of the compressor, and a solenoid assembly (60) to actuate the force transferring member (65). The valve remains closed when no electric current is supplied to the solenoid assembly (60), regardless of the crank pressure or the suction pressure. This facilitates minimum displacement operation of the compressor for a desired period of time and therefore makes the valve suitable for a clutch-less type compressor that is directly connected to an engine with a belt and/or a pulley.

The compressor includes a crank chamber (5), suction chamber (21), a bleed passage (27), and a supply passage (28). The control valve has a supply side valve (V2), a transmission rod (80), and a relief side valve (V1). The transmission rod (80) connects the relief side valve (V1) with the supply side valve (V2). The relief side valve (V1) includes a passage chamber (53) constituting part of the bleed passage (27). The passage chamber (53) is separated into a first area (53a), which is connected to the crank chamber (5), and a lower area (53b), which is connected to the suction chamber (21). A pressure sensing member (60) moves the relief side valve body (61) in accordance with the pressure in the upper area (53a). The effective pressure receiving area (A) of the sensing member (60) is substantially equal to the cross sectional area (B) of the passage chamber (53) that is sealed by Lhe relief side valve body (61).

The urging members urge the coupler member (59) such that the coupler member is disengaged from the engaging portions (41). When power is transmitted from the pulley to the hub, the elastic members (44) maintain the coupler member (59) engaged with the elastic members (44) and with the engaging portions (41). When load generated due to power transmission exceeds a predetermined level, the elastic members (44) are deformed such that the coupler member (59) is disengaged from the elastic members (44). When disengaged from the elastic members (44), the coupler member is disengaged from the engaging portions (44).

    摘要: A control valve is used for a cooling apparatus having a compressor including a displacement variation mechanism and an external refrigerant circuit connected to the compressor to form a cooling circuit. The discharge displacement of the compressor is regulated by controlling a control pressure, which acts on the displacement control mechanism. The control valve has a housing and an internal passage. The internal passage includes a valve chamber defined in the housing. A valve body is located in the valve chamber and controls the opening degree of the internal passage. A first pressure sensing structure senses the differential pressure between two pressure monitoring points in the cooling circuit, that is, a primary pressure, and transmits a force corresponding to the primary pressure to the valve body. A second pressure sensing structure senses a secondary pressure, which is different from the primary pressure, and applies the secondary pressure to the valve body. The valve body is positioned in the valve chamber by a combination of forces corresponding to the primary pressure and the secondary pressure, and the opening degree of the internal passage is controlled accordingly.
