摘要： A barrier fabric laminate for use as a coating for a gel filled article is provided. The barrier fabric laminate comprises a fluid impermeable film (17) and a polyurethane nonwoven web (3) which has a friction value of less than 200 g and a fabric hand of less than 200 g. The polyurethane web is formed of fibers of less than about 50 νm on average and preferably is formed with a fluorochemical melt additive by sequentially melt blowing the polyurethane web on a heated collecting drum (5) and laminated by a nip (4) formed by a heated nip roller (6) and the collecting drum.

摘要： An articulated support assembly (10) for a computer keyboard (9). The assembly includes a generally U shaped rigid support member (20), and a platform (16) for supporting the keyboard pivotably mounted on a central portion of the support member. Projecting end portions of the support member are pivotably mounted on attachment members fixed to the bottom of a table or desk top. A releasable friction clutch (34) restricts pivotal movement of the platform around the central portion of the support member. A releasable ratchet assembly (30) prevents revolving movement of the central portion toward a lowered position relative to the attachment members. A switching mechanism can be manually activated to release the ratchet assemblies and the friction clutch so that the position and orientation of the platform relative to the table or desk top can be adjusted.

摘要： Solid elastomeric gel is produced in a continuous process using a twin screw extruder (10). Gel from the extruder (10) can be fed through a die (21) to form a length of the gel (20) with a uniform cross section and then cut to length to provide pieces of the gel (20) for use in a pad. Alternatively, gel from the extruder (10) may be injected into a chamber between a rigid base portion and a thermoplastic sheet to form that sheet and a surface of the layer of gel in the cavity against a surface in a cavity, thereby producing a pad including the layer of gel that has a precise predetermined peripheral shape corresponding to the surface in the cavity and is covered by the sheet which also has that peripheral shape and is wrinkle free.
