摘要： A wrist assembly (10) for use along the front edge of a device to be operated by a person's hands or fingers, such as in front of a computer keyboard (11), including an elongate base (14) on which is supported an elongate pad (17) comprising a layer of gel (19) within the covering. The pad has sufficient thickness between its top and bottom surfaces and width between its edges to afford supporting a user's wrists on said top surface with a portion of the layer of gel beneath and conforming to the supported wrists and to afford significant motion of the top surface of the pad with the supported wrists relative to the bottom surface in a plane generally parallel to the upper surface of the base. The base has a top portion supporting the pad, a bottom portion adapted to be supported on a horizontal surface; and structure that allows the top portion to be supported on the bottom portion with the top surface of the pad at a predetermined one of several different distances above that horizontal surface.

摘要： A mobile computer workstation is disclosed and generally includes a base assembly, a power supply, a column assembly, a tray assembly, a monitor support assembly and a tray controller. The power supply can be housed in the base assembly. The column assembly is linearly extensible and extends upward from the base assembly. The column assembly can carry the tray assembly and monitor support assembly. The workstation can be optionally configured with a variety of storage solutions for any of a number of work environments and tasks. The tray assembly can house a computer that is integrated into the workstation. The tray controller provides a measure of security for the workstation by allowing access to the workstation and control over its features only by authorized users.

摘要： A device for supporting the wrists of a keyboard operator or typist. The device includes a support member for supporting the operator's wrists, a mounting bracket (20) adapted to be mounted on a base, a pair of connecting members (28) respectively extending from the mounting bracket and the wrist support member, each of the connecting members having a slot (30) disposed therein, and a pin extending parallel to the support member through each of the slots in the connecting member so as to respectively connect the pair of connecting members extending from the mounting bracket to the pair of connecting members extending from the wrist support member. In this manner, the wrist support member (16) is pivotably adjustable relative to the mounting bracket about an axis which is disposed parallel to the mounting bracket, and the wrist support member is translatably adjustable in two directions angularly disposed with respect to one another. Therefore, the wrist support members are independently adjustable in three directions providing the operator with a large degree of adjustability.

The support device comprises a wrist support member (12) having a cushion means (46) mounted thereon with the support member being adjustably movable with respect to first vertical slots (28, 30) provided in a base member (14) to provide various vertical height elevations for the cushion means above a support surface (20). A keyboard (16) is supported on a platform (18) having a proximal end (84) that is engageable with pairs of tabs (92, 94 and 96) extending from a bracket portion (98) of the wrist support to provide for adjusting the slope of the platform and thereby the associated keyboard. The vertical height of the cushion means is spaced above the keyboard. This enables the typist to have her hands in a 'neutral' posture resting on the cushion means with the wrists positioned such that the hands are approximately in a horizontal plane to reach the keyboard keys.
