A processor of the wearable device may operate by dynamically tracking the precise geometric relationship between the wearable device and a user's eyes. The techniques discussed herein may facilitate real-time computation and playback of a propagated signal(s) perceived at a listener location in a three-dimensional environment in response to reception of a desired anechoic signal at a source location in the three-dimensional environment. The propagated audio realistically accounts for dynamic signal sources, dynamic listeners, and effects caused by the geometry and composition of the three-dimensional environment. The techniques may parameterize impulse response(s) of the environment and convolve the anechoic signal with canonical filters at run-time in a manner that respects the parameters of the parameterized impulse response(s). The techniques also provide for real-time computation and playback of a propagated audio signal perceived at a listener location in a virtual three-dimensional environment responsive to generation of source audio signals generated at multiple source locations in the virtual three-dimensional environment.
