The lubricating oil is excellent in compatibility with lubricating oil additives as well as in viscosity properties, heat stability, oxidation stability and abrasion resistance. The lubricating oil composition of the invention comprises an α-olefin/aromatic vinyl compound random copolymer and a base oil. The random copolymer comprises the same constituent units as in the above-mentioned random copolymer in specific proportions and has an intrinsic viscosity, as measured in decalin at 135 °C, of 0.1 to 5.0 dl/g, and the base oil comprises a mineral oil and/or a hydrocarbon synthetic oil. The lubricating oil composition has excellent lubricating oil properties. The fuel oil composition of the invention comprises an α-olefin/aromatic vinyl type fuel oil fluidity improver and a middle fraction fuel oil having a boiling point of 150 to 400 °C. The fuel oil fluidity improver comprises an α-olefin/aromatic vinyl compound random copolymer comprising the same constituent units as in the above-mentioned random copolymer in specific proportions and having an intrinsic viscosity, as measured in decalin at 135 °C, of 0.01 to 1.0 dl/g. Disclosed is a vulcanized molded product having a surface decorative layer, comprising a vulcanized product of an unsaturated olefin copolymer (A) and a decorative layer provided on a surface of the vulcanized product, or comprising a vulcanized product of an olefin elastomer composition and a decorative layer provided on a surface of the vulcanized product, said olefin elastomer composition comprising an unsaturated olefin copolymer (A) and an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer rubber (E). The unsaturated olefin copolymer (A) is obtained from (i) ethylene, (ii) an aromatic vinyl compound, (iii) a non-conjugated polyene, and optionally, (iv) an α-olefin of 3 to 20 carbon atoms. Since the vulcanized molded product having a surface layer has excellent adhesion properties between the molded product and the surface decorative layer and shows excellent mechanical strength, it can be widely used for automotive industrial parts and building materials. Also disclosed is a coated molded product of a thermoplastic resin composition, comprising a molded product of a thermoplastic resin composition and a coating film formed on the molded product, said thermoplastic resin composition comprising an ethylene/aromatic vinyl compound random copolymer and another thermoplastic resin. Further disclosed is a coated molded product of an elastomer composition, comprising a molded product of an elastomer composition and a coating film formed on the molded product, said elastomer composition comprising an ethylene/aromatic vinyl compound random copolymer and an elastomer. Since the coated molded products have excellent adhesion properties between the molded product and the coating film, they can be widely used for industrial materials and medical appliances which need to have coating films.
