摘要: Method for learning the neutral position of a gear shift actuator (1) with sliding gear (2) motorised between two opposed engaging pinions (3, 4), comprising a control element (5) that is position-regulated by the drive motor thereof, which acts on a mechanical movement assembly of the slide gear provided with an assistance system (7) having a spring, capable of firstly accumulating energy when the teeth of the sliding gear come to abut against those of the pinion to be engaged in order to shift the gears and then secondly of restoring this energy by relaxing in order to assist the engagement of the teeth of the sliding gear between those of said pinion, characterised in that the neutral position of the actuator (1) is determined by identifying the positions of the control element (2) at the time when the teeth of the sliding gear (2a) come to abut against those of each of the two pinions (3a, 4a), by observing the resistant torque on the control element (5) during movement of the sliding gear (2) towards the pinions (3, 4).
