The part of the moulded body (7) present in the housing inner chamber (3) is connected to the device (5) for drying the air present in the housing inner chamber (3) such that collected water (6) can be transferred out of the device (5) to the moulded body (7) for air drying.

The battery according to the invention is characterized in that a protective film (7) is arranged between the discharge valves (3) of the battery cells (2) and the separate connections (4) of the discharge pipe system so that direct contact of the battery cells (2) to the gases in the discharge pipe system is prevented.
