摘要:
An original reference value table containing converted values of image data on the entire color space is made based on known lookup tables of a printer and a correction printer, and a reference value table is wholly or partly corrected adequately so that the results of printing performed by the correction printer by referring to the original reference value table may be similar to the results of printing performed by the printer while the mutual nonlinearity of converted values held in the reference value table is maintained, thus making a reference value table with an improved precision of color reproduction.

An electrostatic gravure printing method wherein use is made of paper with a water content of 4-6 % and a surface resistivity of 1.0x10 -9.0x10 OMEGA /c under the environment of 23+/-1 DEG C and 50+/-2 % RH. This method can thus limit the occurrence of missing dots in printed matters and eliminate the difficulty of page turning in the bound printed matter and electrostatic troubles such as unpleasant noise caused by electric discharge as pages are turned and separated.
摘要:
A method for improving the reproducibility of color on a print printed by a printing press, in which a lookup table containing conversion values of image data over the whole color space for a proof press is created and corrected according to the color of the printing paper of a printing press and to the paper exposed area factor in the proof-printing, and a proof print is made by the use of the lookup table corrected. Proof printing image data over the subtractive mixture color space is collected by color matching between the proof print printed by the proof print and a print printed by a printing press. Out of the proof printing image data, data for expressing on a proof print the steps of gradation of black monochrome on a print is so corrected that the part of a print where the area factor of black ink is 100% is expressed only in black ink even on a proof print and in contrast the other part is expressed by under color removal on a proof print. Thus, the expression feature by black ink on a print is reproduced on a proof print.
