摘要: A detection and hold circuit (24) outputs a reference signal having a level proportional to an x-coordinate detection pulse input from an X-coordinate signal amplifier (23). A delay element (25) delays the reference signal. An adder (26) adds the x-coordinate detection pulse from the X-coordinate signal amplifier (23) and a delayed signal from the delay element (25). Comparators (27) and (30) obtain a coordinate detection pulse making a detection signal from another detection and hold circuit (33) for an LCD voltage inversion pulse serve as a reference signal. Thus noise following the x-coordinate detection pulse is removed to generate a coordinate detection pulse with a reference value corresponding to the level of the LCD voltage inversion pulse to allow a stable coordinate detection to be achieved. A correction signal generation circuit (4) reads out correction data stored in an internal memory and transmits the data as a correction signal to a correction voltage generation circuit (5) in an x-coordinate detection period when the segment electrode (X) placed in the lower position is scanned. The correction voltage generation circuit (5) generates a correction voltage (V 1 ') for canceling a voltage induced at the common electrode (Y) placed in the upper position based on the input correction signal and a bias power source (V 1 ) input from a DC power supply circuit (6).

摘要: There is provided an image input device-integrated type display device concurrently having an image display function, a document image input function, and a pen input function. A common electrode (Y) of the image input device-integrated type display unit (1) is formed on a glass plate (28). A segment electrode (X) is formed on a micro lens (27) of a glass plate (29). An island electrode (23) located at each pixel is connected to the segment electrode (X) via a photoconductor (22). Liquid crystals (21) are interposed between the common electrode (Y) and the island electrode (23). In an image input mode, light reflected on a document is applied to the photoconductor (22) to control a voltage applied to the liquid crystals (21). In a pen input mode, light from an input pen is applied to the photoconductor (22) to control a voltage applied to the liquid crystals (21). In an image display mode, a voltage applied to the liquid crystals (21) is controlled according to image data of each pixel. Thus brightness data of the document, position data of the input pen, and image data corresponding to a display signal are written into the image input device-integrated type display unit (1).

摘要: An image processing apparatus includes a light modulator (10), an analog writing system (11) for analogously writing an image of an original in the light modulator, a digital reading system (13) for digitally reading the written image out of the light modulator, a processing section (15) for processing the read image data, a digital writing system (14) for digitally writing the processed image in the light modulator, and an analog reading system (12) for analogously reading the image written on the light modulator. The light modulator includes a photoconductive material, a liquid crystal layer laminated on the photoconductive material, and a pair of electrodes sandwiching the photoconductive material and the liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal layer can provide a storage function so as to enable the reading and writing of the image from the same direction.
