    摘要: The invention is characterized in that a common channel is provided which is allocated to a plurality of subscribers at the same time for data transmission between a base station (NodeB) and a subscriber station (UE1, UE2). Measurements regarding the transmission quality are carried out on the common channel and their results are available in the base station (NodeB). If the transmission quality does not meet a defined criterion, the base station (NodeB) transmits a first message to a controlling radio network controller (CRNC) associated therewith, the first message containing information about the transmission quality and about subscriber stations (UE1, UE2) for which a bad transmission quality was measured. The controlling radio network controller (CRNC) informs, in a second message, serving radio network controllers (SRNC1, SRNC2) that are associated with the subscriber stations (UE1, UE2) having bad transmission quality and that are responsible for the configuration of the subscriber stations (UE1, UE2) about the bad quality.

    摘要: In a radiocommunication system, data transmission via a radio interface involves at least transmission of an individual fine-structure subscriber signal, which contains, in addition to the symbols in the data elements, a mid-amble with known symbols, whereby it is possible to distinguish both the fine structures of the data elements and the mid-amble. On the transmitter side a sum signal is sent which contains signals with various fine structures. The sum signal is filtered by at least one transmission filter and sent by a carrier channel to a receiving radio station. The summation control device enables, due to such filtering, balanced signal losses between signal elements. The inventive method is particularly suited to mobile stations with a simple or varying data rate and to base stations which have been integrated into mobile DT/CDMA radiocommunication networks of the third generation.

    摘要: A method of communicating data using radio signals transmitted between a mobile station (MS) and a plurality of base stations (BS) as the moble station (MS) moves within a radio coverage area provided by the base stations, the method comprising the steps of: transmitting the radio signals using first communications resources between the mobile station and a first of the base stations; detecting when the mobile station has entered a hand-off region; in which communication via the radio signals might be more efficiently effected through at least one different base station; allocating further communications resources associated with the at least one different base station; detecting when communication can be more efficiently effected via the different base station; transmitting the radio signals using the allocated further communications resources associated with the different base station; and releasing the first communications resources, thereby providing substantially uninterrupted communication of the data as the mobile moves with respect to the base stations, whilst minimising interference to other communications.
