摘要:
A sound volume correcting device includes: a variable gain unit controlling a gain of an input audio signal on the basis of a gain control signal; a voice average level detector detecting an average level of a human voice signal in the input audio signal; and a gain control signal generator generating the gain control signal for controlling the gain of the input audio signal using the average level of the human voice signal detected by the voice average level detector as a reference level and supplying the generated gain control signal to the variable gain unit.

A digital signal processing method and apparatus in which no noise is produced when switching between an original sigma-delta modulated signal and a sigma-delta re-modulated signal obtained on sigma-delta modulation of the original sigma-delta modulated signal. In a digital signal processing device 1, delay line 3 delays the original sigma-delta modulated signal from an input terminal 2 by a pre-set number of samples. A sigma-delta modulator 6 sets the first-stage feedback loop to next stage feedback loop gain ratio to an integer and outputs a sigma-delta re-modulated signal. A bit length converter 5 matches the amplitude level of the original sigma-delta modulated signal entering the sigma-delta modulator 6 to the amplitude level of a feedback signal to a first-stage integrator employed in the sigma-delta modulator 6. On reception of a switching control signal S D from an input terminal 7, the digital signal processing device 1 causes a pattern coincidence detector 28 to detect pattern coincidence between the original 1-bit signal S A delayed by the delay line 3, having a number of taps corresponding to the gain ratio, and a sigma-delta re-modulated 1-bit signal S B , to output a detection signal S T . This allows a switching controller 29 to control switching of a changeover switch 4 to output a signal changed over from S A to S B at an output terminal 8.

A volume correction device includes: a variable gain means for controlling a gain, given to an input audio signal, according to a gain control signal; a consecutive relevant sounds interval detection means for detecting a consecutive relevant sounds interval, during which a group of temporally adjoining consecutive relevant sounds is present, in the input audio signal; a mean level detection means for detecting the mean level of the input audio signal attained during the consecutive relevant sounds interval, and whose time constant for mean level detection is set to a smaller value during the leading period of the consecutive relevant sounds interval than during the remaining period; a gain control signal production means for producing the gain control signal, so that the mean level will be equal to a reference level, and feeding the gain control signal to the variable gain means.

A switching device for switching between a 1-bit digital signal ΣΔ modulated by a first sampling frequency and a 1-bit digital signal ΣΔ modulated by a second sampling frequency lower than said first sampling frequency. The 1-bit digital signal ΣΔ modulated by the second sampling frequency is transiently converted to the 1-bit digital signal ΣΔ modulated by the first sampling frequency. The converted 1-bit digital signal or the 1-bit digital signal ΣΔ modulated by the first sampling frequency is switched by cross-fading processing for realizing switching with suppressed noise generation at the time of switching.
