摘要:
A multilayer molded piece is produced by using a composite skin constituted by a skin material and a foam sheet and having a tensional modulus of elasticity of 950 kg/cm² or lower and satisfying the relationship among tension modulus of elasticity E (kg/cm²), heat shrinkage F (%), and thickness (t) as defined by the following expression: 20/(E x t) + F ≧ 2.5 . A large and complicatedly shaped multilayer molded piece is provided which has a good appearance which is free from breaks and wrinkles, as well as from uneven marks on the skin material on the surface thereof.

摘要:
A method of molding a multilayer molded article having a skin material bonded thereto, in which: a preheated panel having a preheated skin material mounted thereon is disposed to face the upper or lower metallic mold; a closed space is formed between said metallic mold and the preheated panel so that said skin material is sucked by vacuum force and stuck to the surface of the metallic mold; resin is poured from a resin passage after removing the preheated panel and while closing the molds or temporarily stopping mold-closing; and then mold-closing is completed to bond the skin material to the resin material. This molding method makes it possible to obtain a multilayer molded article composed of a deep drawn or complicated shaped core material and a skin material integrally bonded to said core material.

This invention relates to a method of manufacturing a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin molded product significantly small in deformation resulting from fiber orientation and excellent in appearance, luster, dimensional stability, and mechanical properties. Fiber-reinforced thermoplastic molten resin, that is, molten thermoplastic resin (A) into which fibers in length ranging from 1 to 50 mm on the average are dispersed as a reinforcing material, is fed into an opened metallic mold on which a film or sheet comprising thermoplastic resin (A) and another adhesive thermoplastic resin (B) is mounted as required, and, with the metallic mold closed, is pressurized and cooled in a closed metallic mold to be molded into a product.

A method of manufacturing laminated molding using a skin material preliminarily shaping device having a male mold and a female mold and a laminate molding device, comprising: (1) a process of preliminarily shaping a skin material; (2) a process of transferring the skin material to the molding device in a state where the skin material thus preliminarily shaped is held by the female mold or the male mold for preliminarily shaping, and fitting and setting the same into a male mold or a female mold for molding; (3) a process of supplying thermoplastic resin to serve as a core material layer in a molten state, and pressurizing, cooling and shaping the same; and (4) a process of opening the male and female molds for molding and taking out the laminated molding. Positioning of the skin material can be accurately carried out with a simplified method and even a deeply drawn laminated molding having a complicated shape in three dimensions can be given an outstanding appearance without damage to the skin material.

Press molding is effected by using a mold in which a nozzle for opening and closing a passage for fused resin provided in an upper mold or a lower mold is provided 10 mm to 100 mm below the surface of a cavity mold through the steps of supplying thermoplastic resin in a fused state between the upper and lower molds that have not yet been closed together, and clamping the molds together, thereby making it possible to obtain a molded product having a good appearance even when a molding cycle is short.
