摘要: An object of the present invention is to prevent soldered fixing members from being peeled off.
Each fixing member 40 is formed such that a mounting plate 42 to be held in contact with a PCB 60 is bent at a right angle to the bottom edge of a main plate 41 to be pressed into a mount groove 30 of a housing 12. Each mounting plate 42 is formed with solder entering holes 47 spaced apart at intervals, and is secured via solder H having entered the solder entering holes 47. Each mounting plate 42 is also formed with slits 50 between the respective solder entering holes 47, the slits making openings at the projecting edge of the mounting plate 42. The slit 50A in the middle is so formed as to extend from the mounting plate 42 to a base end portion of the main plate 41. If such a force acts to turn the mounting plates 42 from one end, this force is divided at the position of each slit 50, especially at the middle slit 50A. Even if the mounting plates 42 are turned, for example, at the right side, they are kept secured at the left side, thereby preventing the mounting plates 42 or the housing 12 from being detached from the PCB 60.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a connector suitable for the miniaturization.
A female housing 20 is provided with a lock arm 30 for holding a mating male connector M in a connected state. The lock arm 30 is comprised of an arm portion 31 extending along forward and backward directions and a pressing portion 32 extending along widthwise direction. The arm portion 31 is resiliently deformed with a supporting portion 33 as a supporting point and provided with a lock portion 34 engageable with the male connector M. The lock arm 31 is displaced in unlocking direction by pressing the pressing portion 32. A pair of coupling portions 35 coupled to the female housing 20 are provided at the opposite ends of the pressing portion 32. These coupling portions 35 are formed to be inclined upward toward a widthwise middle portion 32a of the pressing portion 32.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a connector suitable for the miniaturization.
A female housing 20 made of a synthetic resin is formed with cavities 22 for accommodating female terminal fittings 21, and locking portions 24 engageable with the female terminal fittings 21 to retain them are provided in the cavities 22. Each locking portion 24 projects out from an upper surface 20a or bottom surface 20b of the female housing 20 during the resilient deformation. A lock arm 40 for holding a mating male connector M in a connected state is mounted on the female housing 20. The lock arm 40 is made of a metallic piece and includes a press-in portion 42 which can be pressed into press-in grooves 30 of the female housing 20. The lock arm 40 is so arranged as to face the locking portions 24O and can be retracted into deformation spaces 33O for the locking portions 24O during the resilient deformation.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a circuit board connector having an improved durability against forces acting on a housing to separate the housing from a circuit board.
Engaging portions 24 are so bent as to increase the areas of engaging surfaces 25 in the thickness direction TD thereof. Since contact areas of the engaging portions 24 and restricting surfaces 14 increase in this way, forces acting on the contact surfaces are distributed to become smaller. Accordingly, even if large separating forces repeatedly act on a housing 10, the damage and the like of the engaging portions 24 and restricting surfaces 14 can be presented, with the result that durability against the separating forces can be improved. Further, according to the present invention, an improvement in the durability of this circuit board connector 1 is realized without enlarging the housing 10.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to enable a reduction in bonding strength to a circuit board to be restrained while letting bubbles created in solder escape.
A circuit board connector 1 according to the present invention is provided with a connector housing 10, male terminals 20 and fixing members 30. Each fixing member 30 is formed by bending a metal flat plate into an L-shape, and comprised of a mounting portion 31 used to mount the fixing member 30 into the connector housing 10, and a bonding portion 32 to be soldered. The bonding portion 32 is formed with connecting pieces 33 by making substantially "gate"-shaped cuts in the bonding portion 32 to penetrate the bonding portion 32 and then bending parts enclosed by these cuts upward. A clearance S is defined between the bottom edge of the leading end of each connecting piece 33 and the hole wall of a corresponding through hole 34 facing this bottom edge. The clearances S communicate with the through holes 34 formed upon bending the connecting pieces 33. The lower surfaces of the connecting pieces 33 and the inner surfaces of the through holes 34 can be soldered.
