    摘要: A platinum alloy catalyst and a process of preparing the same are disclosed. The platinum alloy catalyst comprising a carbon support and (a) platinum, (b) manganese and (c) at least one of nickel and cobalt supported on the carbon support. The activity of this alloy catalyst is higher that that of conventional catalysts and possesses a longer life. The above process is characterized by use of an organic acid amine salt of manganese, nickel and/or cobalt. The alloying of these metals with the platinum can be carried out at a lower temperature so that the catalyst having a larger surface area can be obtained.
