摘要:
A woven or knitted fabric, formed from two types of yarns different in self-elongating property upon absorbing water and capable of facilitating the air-permeability when wetted with water, is constituted so that a ratio A/B of a mean length A of yarns (1) having a high water-absorbing, self-elongating property to a mean length B of yarns (2) arranged in the same direction as that of the yarn (1) and having a lower water-absorbing, self-elongating property than that of the yarn (1) is adjusted to 0.9 or less.
摘要:
A woven or knitted cloth formed from two different yarns being different from each other in the self elongation due to water absorption, which comprises a yarn (1) exhibiting a high self elongation due to water absorption and having an average yarn length (A) and a yarn (2) being arranged in the same direction as that for the yarn (1), exhibiting a self elongation lower than that of the yarn (1) and having an average yarn length (B), wherein a yarn length ratio (A/B) is greater than 0.9, and which exhibits the reduction of an interstitial ratio when it becomes wet.
摘要:
An elastic fiber which is made of a polyether ester elastomer comprising polybutylene terephthalate as the hard segment and polyoxyethylene glycol as the soft segment and containing a specific metal organosulfonate in a state copolymerized therewith and exhibits a moisture absorption of 5% or above at 35°C and 95%RH and an elongation on water absorption of 10 % or above. Since the elastic fiber is excellent in moisture absorption characteristics and stretches and shrinks remarkably and reversibly in accordance with the absorption and desorption of water, comfortable fabrics can be made of the elastic fiber. Further, the elastic fiber is recyclable.
