Abstract:
A nucleic acid probe immobilization support comprising a support and a nucleic acid probe which has been immobilized on the support via a spacer and contains a base sequence complementary to a target sequence, characterized by fulfilling the relationship X ≥ Y; wherein X stands for the length of the spacer; and Y stands for the distance from the end of the hybridization site in the support side to the end of a target nucleic acid in the support side in case of hybridizing the nucleic acid probe with the target nucleic acid having the target sequence as a part thereof.
Abstract:
The present invention includes a plurality of working electrodes (141) on which the same type of nucleic acid probes each having a nucleic acid complementary to a target nucleic acid are immobilized and which have different sensor areas and a normalization circuit which normalizes detection signals obtained by the working electrodes (141) with respect to the respective sensor areas.
Abstract:
A base sequencing device comprising a conductive sensing electrode (2), blocking molecules (21) which are formed to cover the surface of the sensing electrode (2) to reduce adsorption of an inserting agent by the surface of the sensing electrode (2), a target complementary nucleic acid probe (23) which is immobilized on the sensing electrode (2) via a spacer member (22) formed of normal chain organic molecules and has a basic sequence complementary to a target basic sequence to be determined, a conductive reference electrode (3), and blocking molecules (31) which are formed to cover the surface of the reference electrode (3) to reduce adsorption of the inserting agent by the surface of the reference electrode (3).
