摘要: Base station, UE and methods therein associated with transmission resources allocated by Semi-Persistent Scheduling, SPS. The method in a UE comprises receiving information about a set of Modulation and Coding Schemes, MCSs from a Base Station, BS. The MCSs are associated with resources allocated by SPS. Further, the method comprises determining an MCS from the set, for communication on at least one resource allocated by SPS, and then transmitting and/or receiving data on the at least one resource allocated by SPS, using the determined MCS.

摘要: A method is presented for adjusting power consumption in a network node of a cellular communication system. The method is performed in a power adaption device and comprises the steps of aggregating bitrates for all traffic flows associated with a power amplifier of the network node to an aggregated bitrate, determining when to adjust power consumption by determining whether power consumption of the power amplifier can be reduced with acceptable effect on the traffic flows associated with the power amplifier, and adjusting power consumption by reducing power consumption of the power amplifier when it is determined that the power consumption of the power amplifier can be reduced with acceptable effect on the traffic flows associated with the power amplifier. A corresponding power adaptation device is also presented.

摘要: Techniques for performing radio link measurements while a wireless device is operating in an extended DRX mode are disclosed. An example method, implemented by a wireless device in a wireless communication network, comprises waking up (510) in advance of a scheduled DRX on-time, and outside of any other scheduled DRX on-time, for at least one measurement interval, performing (520) radio link measurements during the at least one measurement interval, and determining (530) whether the wireless device is in an in-synch or out-of-synch status. In some embodiments, the in-synch or out-of-synch status and/or a radio-link failure are selectively reported to upper layers of the mobile terminal's protocol stack, e.g., to an RRC layer.

摘要: A method in a first wireless device for handling Device to Device, D2D, communication between the first wireless device and a second wireless device is provided. The first wireless device sends a beacon signal to be received by the second wireless device. The beacon signal announces that the first wireless device is available for D2D communication. The beacon signal is sent on a first channel where the first wireless device is interfered. The beacon signal indicates that no response to the beacon signal shall be sent on the first channel.

摘要: A base station (18) generates configuration information for Semi-Persistent Scheduling (SPS) resource allocation to a wireless device (20), such as a User Equipment (UE), for example. The configuration information configures a set of multiple SPS resources to reoccur within a first time interval of the wireless device, but does not configure SPS resources to occur in a second time interval of the wireless device (20). The base station (18) also signals the configuration information to the wireless device (20). Upon receipt, a controller (22) at the wireless device (20) configures the wireless device (20) to receive or transmit data over the set of SPS resources according to the received configuration information.

摘要: The present invention relates to methods and arrangements that make CSG cell discovery more resource efficient. That is achieved by providing the UE with accurate and up-to-date knowledge of the physical cell identity (identities) of its allowed CSG cell(s). Accurate knowledge of the PCI of an allowed CSG cell greatly simplifies the search/discovery procedure for this CSG cell, in particular the procedure can be made much more resource efficient and UE battery lifetime can be prolonged.

摘要: A technique for relocating a Serving Gateway associated to a User Equipment is described. One method implementation of this technique is performed in a Mobility Management Entity, MME, and comprises the steps of a) triggering, from the MME, a relocation of a source SGW to a target SGW by sending a Create Session Request message to the target SGW, b) receiving, from the target SGW, a Create Session Response message including S1 General Packet Radio Service, GPRS, Tunnelling Protocol, GTP, endpoints of the target SGW, c) updating, from the MME to an Evolved NodeB, eNB, an Internet Protocol, IP, address and a Tunnel Endpoint IDentifier, TEID, of the target SGW, and d) sending, from the MME to the source SGW, a Delete Session Request to delete a session.
