The invention relates to a connection joint for transmitting a rotational movement from a first rotating shaft to a second rotating shaft, comprising a joint outer part, a joint central part, and a joint inner part. The joint outer part and the joint inner part are connected to the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft, respectively, in order to transmit the rotational movement, and balls are provided in ball tracks, the position of said balls being modifiable in the ball tracks relative to the joint outer, central, and inner part. The aim of the invention is to provide a connection joint for transmitting rotational movements, said joint being more simply constructed, easier to produce, and additionally having less backlash with a low degree of total friction. This is achieved in that the joint outer part is pivotally mounted about a first pivot axis relative to the joint central part by means of balls in at least one first and second ball track, which are provided between the joint outer part and the joint central part; the joint inner part is pivotally mounted about a second pivot axis relative to the joint central part by means of balls in a third and fourth ball track, which are provided between the joint inner part and the joint central part; the first and second pivot axes form a 90° angle relative to each other; and the balls are provided in the ball tracks such that the rotational movement can be transmitted from the joint outer part to the joint inner part and back via the joint central part by means of the balls in the ball tracks.
