    摘要: An electrode for a non-aqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided in which cycle characteristics are improved and a charging/discharging capacity is secured. A mass ratio of the acetylene black is within a range of from 12 mass% to 20 mass% inclusive with respect to a mass of the active material, a mass ratio of the vapor grown carbon fiber is within a range of from 2 mass% to 6 mass% inclusive with respect to a mass of the active material, and a mass ratio of the binder is within a range of from 18 mass% to 21 mass% inclusive with respect to a mass of the active material (1).

In the anode for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary cell, by modifying the surface of an active material with a polymer containing a carboxyl group, followed by bonding to a crosslinking binder, a stable SEI layer is formed and thus a mixture layer with high mechanical strength is provided, thereby preventing detachment of the active material due to a volume change caused by charging and discharging, and thus providing an electrode for a secondary cell with good cycle characteristics.
