    摘要: A method and an apparatus (40) for reducing the degradation of heat sensitive components in medical substances during heat sterilisation are described. The medical substances are contained in a multiple chamber recipient (10, 60) that comprises a first chamber (12) with a first medical substance and at least one second chamber (14, 50) containing an amount of a second medical substance that is smaller than that of the first medical substance. The multiple chamber recipient (10, 60) is heated to a predetermined temperature for sterilising the medical substances, and the second chamber (14, 50) with the second medical substance is thermally insulated during heating of the multiple chamber recipient (10, 60). The multiple chamber recipient (10, 60) is held at this temperature for a predetermined time and is subsequently cooled. A predetermined time after commencing heating of the multiple chamber recipient (10, 60) the thermal insulation of the second chamber (14, 50) is removed, so that a defined hold time of the second chamber (14, 50) at the sterilisation temperature is obtained.

    摘要: Method and device for monitoring of an infusion pump in a machine for hemodiafiltration or hemofiltration. The machine comprises a first flow circuit for a dialysis solution with a flowmeter arranged in the flow circuit. In addition, there is a second flow circuit for blood. A dialyser or hemofilter is divided by means of a semi-permeable membrane into a first chamber which is connected to the first flow circuit and a second chamber which is connected to the second flow circuit. In addition, there is a third flow circuit from an outlet for dialysis solution in the first flow circuit to a connection in the second flow circuit and comprising an infusion pump. The dialyser is disconnected by means of a valve from the first flow circuit so that the infusion pump is connected in series with the flowmeter in the first flow circuit. The monitoring of the infusion pump takes place by comparing the expected flow through the infusion pump with the measured flow through the flowmeter.

    摘要: Method and device for measuring the flow differential between incoming liquid flow to a dialysis machine and outgoing liquid flow from a dialysis machine, as well as a method for calibration of the device. The dialysis machine comprises a heat exchanger (10) for transfer of heat energy from the outgoing (29) to the incoming (8) liquid flow, a connection (23,24) to a dialyser (2) for feeding the dialysis solution through the dialysate side of the dialyser, a device (20, 28) for attaining an ultrafiltration in the dialyser, and a plurality of temperature sensors (30,31;32,33) for detecting the temperature of the dialysis solution. The flow differential is calculated with help of the equation ΔQ = Q x (ΔT 1 - ΔT 2 )/ΔT 2 where ΔQ = the flow differential, Q = the liquid flow, ΔT 1 = temperature difference across one side of the heat exchanger and ΔT 2 = temperature difference across the other side of the heat exchanger. Calibration takes place with built in concentrate pumps (6,16,18).
