A method of manufacturing a gas barrier film coated plastic container with high gas-barrier properties by solving a problem in a conventional method wherein the formation of a gas barrier film is obstructed by water molecules adsorbed in the plastic container and the container with reduced gas-barrier properties is manufactured. The method is characterized by comprising the steps of decreasing a pressure inside the plastic container or decreasing a pressure to the entire part of the plastic container, flowing dry gas as leak gas when vacuum is released to fill the inside of the container with the dry gas for drying the plastic container, replacing the gas inside the plastic container with a material gas or a material gas-containing gas, and plasmatizing the material gas to form the gas barrier film on the inner surface of the plastic container by a CVD method.

The invention provides cloned transgenic ungulates (e.g., bovines) in which prion protein activity is reduced by one or more genetically engineered mutations. Desirably, these transgenic bovines are also genetically modified to express xenogenous (e.g., human) antibodies. Because of their resistance to prion-related diseases such as bovine spongiform encephalopy (also known as mad cow disease), these bovines are a safer source of human antibodies for pharmaceutical uses and safer source of agricultural products.

Thus, sufficient therapeutic effects can be achieved on cancer and infectious diseases such as AIDS without effecting any pulse therapy with the use of tumor antigens.

The apparatus for manufacturing the DLC film coated plastic container, comprising: a container side electrode which forms one portion of a pressure-reducing chamber which houses a container formed from plastic, a facing electrode which faces said container side electrode and is arranged inside said container or above said opening, wherein said container side electrode and said facing electrode are made to face each other via an insulating body which forms a portion of said pressure-reducing chamber, source gas supply means which includes a supply gas inlet pipe, exhaust means, and high frequency supply means; wherein said container side electrode is formed so that the average inner hole diameter of the inner wall surrounding said neck portion when the container is housed becomes smaller than the average inner hole diameter of the inner wall surrounding said body portion, and the average distance between the outer wall of said container and the inner wall of said container side electrode in a horizontal cross section with respect to the vertical direction of said container at said neck portion becomes longer than the average distance between the outer wall of said container and the inner wall of said container side electrode in a horizontal cross section with respect to the vertical direction of said container at said body portion.
