The present invention provides an optical article comprising a laminated substance in which a plastic sheet, a resin layer and a backup resin are laminated in this order, wherein the resin layer contains an electromagnetic wave absorbing agent.

The transparent optical article is a transparent optical article of a laminated structure containing one layer of polarizer sheet, wherein at least one layer other than the polarizer sheet has a dimming function. A plurality of sheets provided with one layer of polarizer sheet and at least one layer of other sheet are bonded together by an adhesive or a tackifier to constitute a composite sheet-like item, and at least one layer of the other sheet and the adhesive or the tackifier in the composite sheet-like item has a dimming function.

摘要: A lens for eyeglasses is disclosed, which can reduce the glare of sunlight, while retaining the lightness in the field of vision. The lens is made of a synthetic resin base material which contains an organic dye with an absorption maximum in the vicinity of the central wavelength on the standard relative visibility curve, as well as an ultraviolet light absorbing agent and a blue light absorbing agent, and which may further contain an infrared light absorbing agent and/or an infrared light reflecting agent as an optional ingredient. The lens has the optical characteristics that it has a transmittance minimum in the range of wavelength extending from 550 to 585 nm on the transmittance curve; the transmittance of light at the transmittance minimum is not greater than 25%; the average transmittance of light over the range of wavelength extending from 590 to 660 nm is not less than 15%; and the average transmittance of light over the range of wavelength extending from 470 to 550 nm is not less than 10%.
