Abstract:
An endoscope and optical system for an endoscope having rod lenses and correction lens groups where the number of relay lens systems is not less than the number of correction lens groups in the endoscope and optical system of the endoscope.
Abstract:
The diameter of an endoscope insertion portion is reduced, and a wide field angle of an endoscope insertion portion is obtained. An endoscope objective optical system includes, from an object side, a first lens formed of a plano-concave lens having a concave surface facing an image side, a second lens formed of a plano-concave lens having a concave surface facing the object side, an aperture stop, and a third lens formed of a plano-convex lens having a plane surface facing the object side, and satisfies 0.7 ‰¤ fab / f ‰¤ 0.9 1.7 ‰¤ fe / fab ‰¤ 2 2 ‰¤ fb / fa ‰¤ 4 where f: focal length of the entire system; fa: focal length of the first lens; fb: focal length of the second lens; fe: represents focal length of the third lens; fab: ombined focal length from the first lens to the second lens.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an optical system (60), a stereo-video endoscope (2) as well as a method for producing an optical system (60). The optical system (60) comprises a distal optical assembly (16) and a proximal optical assembly (18), between which a prism unit (46) is arranged. The prism unit (46) is designed to supply a left beam path exiting from the exit lens (32) of the distal optical assembly (16) to the left lens system channel (38L) of the proximal optical assembly (18). Likewise, the prism unit (46) is designed to supply a right beam path exiting from the exit lens (32) of the distal optical assembly (16) to the right lens system channel (38R) of the proximal optical assembly (18). A determined second distance (D2) can be adjusted in a direction perpendicular to an optical axis (LoA, RoA) of the left and right lens system channel (38L, 38R).
Abstract:
The invention relates to an imaging device (E) comprising: at least one generator (1) of structured light; an emission first image guide (5, 5') for uplinking the structured light from the generator (1) to an object to be observed; and a return second image guide (5', 5) for downlinking the light reflected by said object to be observed to a system (2) for capturing said reflected light. Each of the two image guides (5, 5') is able to uplink the structured light and downlink the reflected light, and the imaging device comprises an optical switch (3) configurable into three different operating modes.
Abstract:
A highly corrected relay system for medical endoscopes or the like is provided. The system includes a plurality of bonded lenses that are selected to provide color correction from the blue region of the spectrum through to the near infrared region of the spectrum. The system allows co-located visible and near infrared images to be resolved on a single detector.
Abstract:
A lateral light emitting device is developed. The lateral light emitting device is free from variations and degradation in beam quality and reduction in reliability caused by adhesive, can be easily produced, and has a small outer diameter in order to be usable for a thin blood vessel and the like. The above described problem is solved by the lateral light emitting device, which includes an optical fiber, a rod lens fused to an end of the optical fiber, and a prism having a polygonal section fused to a distal end surface of the rod lens.

Abstract:
An optical device for viewing an object at a range of working distances. The device comprises a slender tube (4) having a distal end and a proximal end, an imaging system (8) disposed at the distal end and having a wide viewing angle and a telescopic system (10) associated with the proximal end and having a narrow viewing angle. The space between the imaging system and the telescopic system within the slender tube and/or the space between the telescopic system and the proximal end of the slender tube, is filled with transparent optical media (31, 32) havinf a refraction index greater than 1. The device is especially adapted to function as an endoscope in medical applications and may be disposable.
