摘要: A method for localizing structural connectivity biomarkers in neurological diseases, includes dividing a diffusion magnetic resonance imaging brain volume into a set of connected brain regions; extracting three-dimensional voxels along fiber connections which structurally connect the connected brain regions, wherein the brain regions comprise bundles of neurons; applying a deep neural network to diffusion magnetic resonance imaging features extracted from the three-dimensional voxels for each set of fiber connections which structurally connect brain regions; outputting a disease classification based on applying the deep neural network; and applying multi-instance learning to predict whether each fiber connection is indicative of a healthy brain or a diseased brain.

摘要: The invention relates to a system for performing diagnostic or therapeutic transcranial procedures, the system comprising:
a patient-specific transcranial headset comprising:
a patient-specific frame customized to specifically fit the head of a patient; and
ultrasound transducers supported by said patient-specific frame, wherein said ultrasound transducers reside in pre-selected positions and orientations relative to the head of the patient, as prescribed by transducer registration data spatially registering the positions and orientations of the ultrasound transducers with volumetric image data associated with the patient; and
control and processing hardware operably connected to said ultrasound transducers, said control and processing hardware being configured to employ the transducer registration data to control at least a portion of said ultrasound transducers to focus energy, within the head of the patient, at a pre-selected tissue region within the head of the patient.-
