According to one embodiment of the present invention, this biomagnetism measurement device 1 comprises: a tube 10; an expansion part 11 which is positioned at a necessary region of the tube 10 and can expand as a result of supply of a gas; a magnetism sensor part 13 which is fixed to the inner wall of the expansion part 11 and detects a magnetic field external to the tube 10. Preferably, the tube 10 and the expansion part 11 are formed from the same material, and the wall thickness of the expansion part 11 is less than the wall thickness of the tube 10.

Neuro-response data including electroencephalography (EEG) data is collected from users in order to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing materials in virtual reality environments. In particular examples, neuro-response data is used to modify marketing materials and virtual reality environments presented to the user.

The invention relates to a method and device by means of which the location and position of an object may be determined in relation to another object by electromagnetic signals. In the arrangement in accordance with the invention there are two objects to the one of which there are attached signal sources, i.e. transmitters that generate electromagnetic signals, and the other object contains one or more receivers for measuring the transmitter signals. Usually the object containing transmitters is the one whose location or position is of interest and which is the object of the measurement. For example, in MEG measurements the object associated with the transmitters is the head of a human being on whose surface the transmitters are placed. By means of the arrangement in accordance with the invention it is possible to find out the location and position of the head, in which case the location of the signals generated by the brain may be found out and utilised when examining the brain activity. The transmitters are also used to measure the signals emanating from the brain.

Said method involves: transmitting out a stimulus via a hearing aid, thereby supplying an auditory stimulus to the auditory nervous system of a person provided with said hearing aid; receiving the neurophysiological signals emitted by said auditory nervous system in response to the auditory stimulus by means of an electro- or magneto-encephalography system; processing the received signals; sending out a stimulus consisting of at least one pair of linguistic units selected from a phonetic confusion matrix; separately receiving a neurophysiological signal in response for each linguistic unit; and comparing the signals such as to assess the effectiveness of the hearing aid.
