    摘要： A layer of plastic (12), either in film or coating form, is bonded to a sheet of non-woven material (10) to form a base. When film is used, it is preferably smaller in size than the non-woven material and affixed to the top surface thereof by an acrylic adhesive (11). The plastic film is coated, on its exposed surface, with a layer of acrylic adhesive (16). When the plastic is in the form of a coating, it is bonded to the bottom surface of the non-woven material. A superabsorbent pad (18), smaller in size than the base, is wrapped in non-woven material (20) and affixed to the base by the exposed adhesive layer. The remaining portion of the exposed adhesive layer forms a border around the superabsorbent pad for adhering the bandage to the skin.

    摘要： Un pansement d'irrigation pour des plaies profondes comprend une plaque (1) adhésive, imperméable aux liquides et à l'air, comportant au moins une perforation (6, 7) destinée à acheminer et à aspirer du liquide, et à permettre une égalisation de la pression. Ladite perforation comporte un conduit (10) destiné à acheminer et à aspirer du liquide. On introduit dans la cavité de la plaie ledit conduit par lequel le liquide d'irrigation est acheminé et aspiré. Une fois l'irrigation achevée, on ferme la ou les perforations se trouvant dans ladite plaque afin d'obturer le pansement. On peut relier un sac (18) audit pansement afin de remplir la cavité de la plaie et d'influer activement sur cette dernière.

    摘要： An adhesive wafer for an ostomy pouch, and the combination of such a wafer and pouch, in which the adhesive layer of the wafer is composed of a hydrocolloid-containing skin barrier material and is contoured to provide a relatively thick body portion (22) surrounded by a relatively thin peripheral portion (23), are disclosed. The wafer has a stoma-receiving opening (17), and the adhesive layer (14) is of developed shape so that most, if not all, of the relatively thick body portion is located immediately below and to the sides of the stoma-receiving opening. The relatively thin peripheral portion of the adhesive layer is preferably embossed to provide a pattern of discrete, non-connecting depressions separated and isolated from each other by flat-top ridges dimensioned and arranged so that a skin surface engaged by said embossed surface primarily contacts only such ridges.
