    摘要: This invention provides a blood processing filter including a flexible container having an inlet and an outlet for blood, and a sheet-like filter media arranged so as to divide the inside of the flexible container into one side and another side. An annular seal part is formed at which an entire circumference that is adjacent to a peripheral portion of the filter media is integrally sealed to the flexible container. The blood processing filter is retained in a curved shape that curves as viewed from a predetermined one direction that is orthogonal to the thickness direction by the rigidity of the seal part.

The insert (1) has a partition (3) dividing a radially inner blood bag region (5) from a radially outer product region, and a cover (9) arranged in a mounting position above the blood bag region (5). The cover (9) is connected to the partition (3) in such a way that it can be rotated on a first point (11) and detached on a second point (13), thereby allowing the blood bag region (5) to be freely accessed by laterally turning the cover (9) away. The second sensor (85) also detects the composition of the transported blood constituent, according to a signal corresponding to a pre-determined composition of the blood constituent and emitted by the first sensor (25). The transport and rotation are stopped when the second sensor (85) detects the pre-determined composition and emits a corresponding end signal, or when a pre-determined period of time has elapsed.

    摘要: An apparatus and method are disclosed for filtering or separating particles. The apparatus has a centrifuge rotor (12) rotatable about an axis of rotation. A fluid chamber (22) rotates with the rotor. A substance is supplied to the inlet (28) of the chamber. A saturated fluidized bed of first particles forms within the fluid chamber and obstructs flow of second particles through the chamber. In an embodiment of the invention, additives substances alter sedimentation velocity of the first particles to modify the filtration characteristics of the saturated fluidized bed. The fluid chamber includes a wall extending between an inlet (28) and outlet (32) to form a fluid chamber interior. The interior converges from a position of maximum cross-sectional area toward the inlet. A groove or a step may be formed on an inner surface of the fluid chamber wall to improve particle separation within the fluid chamber.

    A fluid chamber (222) includes a wall extending between an inlet (228) and outlet (232) to form a fluid chamber interior. The interior converges from a position of maximum cross-sectional area (233) toward the inlet. A groove (290) or a step (294) are formed on an inner surface of the fluid chamber wall to improve particle separation within the fluid chamber.
    The fluid chamber rotates with a centrifuge rotor. A substance is supplied to the inlet of the chamber. A saturated fluidized bed of first particles forms within the fluid chamber and obstructs flow of second particles through the chamber.
