    摘要: A single lumen endobronchial tube (2100) includes a medical tube having a single lumen with an opening at each of opposed distal (2104) and proximal (2102) ends of the tube, the opening (2145) at the proximal end of the tube being adapted for connection to an external mechanical ventilation device, and the opening (2140) at the distal end of the tube being adapted for delivery of a medical gas; a wall (2110) extending throughout the tube's entire length having an internal wall surface, an external wall surface and a thickness therebetween, a portion of the wall having an aperture (2170) and a shaft adapted to house a mechanism for sealing the aperture; a distal bronchial cuff (2152) positioned along the external wall surface and adapted to expand radially outward; and at least a first proximal tracheal cuff (2132) positioned along the external wall surface and adapted to expand radially outward.

    摘要: An apparatus for monitoring EMG signals of a patient's laryngeal muscles includes an endotracheal tube having a first cuff and a second cuff. Conductive ink electrodes are formed on an exterior surface of the first cuff. The conductive ink electrodes are configured to receive the EMG signals from the laryngeal muscles when the endotracheal tube is placed in a trachea of the patient. At least one conductor is coupled to the conductive ink electrodes and is configured to carry the EMG signals received by the conductive ink electrodes to a processing apparatus.
