A computerized method for facilitating execution of an interactive live game by a processor of a game server, is provided. The method includes receiving a request of a player to participate in an interactive live game; executing an interactive game; based on the executed game, transmitting, to a video processor, game display data and virtual reality data, the virtual reality data including data pertaining a virtual reality environment comprising at least two themes. Based on the executed game, transmitting game events, thereby facilitating the player's device to create a composited video stream comprising a live game video stream captured in a live studio in which an operator operating a mobile activation button, and data that pertains to the generated game events. In response to receiving an input from the mobile activation button, game server transmits transition data indicative of switching between the at least two themes in the environment.

The invention relates to a method of creating a virtual game environment. The method comprises: selecting one or more physical objects according to pre-determined physical properties; providing a physical model of the game environment/scene using the selected physical objects; scanning the physical model to obtain a digital three dimensional representation of the physical model including information on the pre-determined physical properties; converting the digital three-dimensional representation of the physical model into a virtual toy construction model made up of virtual toy construction elements; and defining game-controlling elements in the virtual toy construction model using information on the pre-determined physical properties, thereby creating the virtual game environment/scene. The invention further relates to an interactive game system including an implementation of the method.

Methods and systems for enabling a handheld device to capture video of an interactive session of an interactive application presented on a main display are provided. An interactive session of the interactive application defines interactivity between a user and the interactive application. An initial position and orientation of a handheld device operated by a spectator are determined. A current state of the interactive application based on the interactivity between the user and the interactive application is determined. The position and orientation of the handheld device are tracked during the interactive session. A spectator video stream of the interactive session based on the current state of the interactive application and the tracked position and orientation of the handheld device is generated. The spectator video stream is rendered on a handheld display of the handheld device.

The present disclosure provides a method and a system for an augmented gaming platform. The method and system may capture an image using a computer device with a camera and a display. The method and system may send the image to a matching engine, wherein a trigger is matched to an object in the image. The method and system may return by the matching engine an overlay based on the trigger. The method and system may enter the overlay into an augmented gaming platform.

According to a further aspect of the invention, a method for determining a body shape of a dressed person is provided which comprises gathering the spatial coordinates of a plurality of points on the surface of the dressed person as well as determining a plurality of body parameters which at least partly define the body shape to be determined, wherein the body parameters are taken from a stored statistical distribution of body parameters such that the spatial coordinates of the plurality of points are substantially located on a surface of the body shape or outside the body shape.
