A sustained rotational liquid sewage first fluid flow, an induced upward liquid sewage second fluid flow, and a sustained rotational liquid sewage third fluid flow are employed in an apparatus having a cylindrical grit settling main chamber, a grit storage secondary chamber including a central grit settling access top mouth opening, a vertical shaft, a means for causing rotation of the vertical shaft, and a partition extending transversely through the main chamber and forming upper and lower subchambers. A fluid flow speed gradient is established between the liquid sewage third fluid flow and the liquid sewage first fluid flow. In this manner, grit is separated from liquid sewage.

The invention relates to a method for the separation of suspensions, whereby an external pressure gradient is applied between an inlet reservoir (100) and the outlet reservoirs (300, 310), such that the suspension flows into a micro-channel system. At least one fraction is drawn off directly after an elbow bend (200) through a suction opening (600) by means of a suction channel (400). The adjustment of various volumetric flows in the supply and drain channels of the micro-channel system is achieved by means of selecting the external pressure gradient. The various phases of a suspension are further separated or concentrated by means of a series of elbow bends. The device for carrying out the method connects an inlet reservoir (100) and at least two outlet reservoirs (300, 310) by means of an inlet run (101), an elbow bend (200) and two channels (400, 500) arranged at an angle of β ≤ 90°.

Um eine Ablagerung von Stoffen im unteren Teil des Reaktors (1) zu verhindern, wird durch schlagartiges Öffnen eines Bodenabzugs (3) eine Sogwirkung auf die im Reaktor (1) abgelagerten Stoffe ausgeübt. Über eine großdimensionierte Bodenabzugsleitung (3,4) wird ein Suspensionsstrom mit hohem Feststoffanteil abgezogen und bevorzugt einem Separationsreaktor (2) zugeführt. Im Separationsreaktor (2) wird eine gezielte Entmischung der Suspension herbeigeführt, so dass die zur Ablagerung neigenden Stoffe ausgeschleust werden können.

The invention relates to a method and equipment for the preparation of such a solid catalyst suitable for olefin polymerization that comprises a transition metal compound reacted for a carrier. In the method the reagents mentioned are fed into a reaction vessel (1), reacted to raw procatalyst, after which the liquid reaction residue is removed through a bottom sieve (3) in the vessel (1), the raw procatalyst obtained is washed with a washing liquid, which is also removed through the bottom sieve (3), after which the raw procatalyst is dried and removed from the vessel (1). The problem has previously been that the procatalyst product contains too much harmful, finely-divided material. Now, this disadvantage has been removed by furnishing the vessel (1) with a tilting means (4), whereby the reaction residue liquid and/or the washing liquid along with its impurities can be removed by keeping the vessel (1) tilted to an acute angle with respect to its vertical axis, allowing the raw procatalyst settle to cover the tilted side part of the bottom sieve (3), and by filtering decanting the liquid away from the vessel (1) through the part of the bottom sieve (3) that is not covered by raw procatalyst.
