A half round dedusting apparatus (10) for removing dust and debris from particulate material passing through the dedusting apparatus. The configuration of the dedusting apparatus includes a half round cylindrical housing (12) in which is mounted a partial cone wash deck (20) having a reverse partial cone deflector (34) that is vertically moveable to vary the flow rate of particulate material passing over the wash deck. The product inlet port (30) is preferably circular and directs contaminant-laden particulate material inside the deflector to pass over the surface of the wash deck. The housing (12) has a greater diameter than the maximum diameter of the wash deck (20) to establish a Venturi zone (25) around the circumference of the wash deck. The wash deck and deflector are detachably mounted within the housing to allow removal thereof for ease of cleaning the wash deck and also the interior of the housing.

The invention relates to a method for classifying superabsorbent particles, wherein the superabsorbent particles are fed to a topmost screen deck (7) of a screening machine having at least two screen decks (7) each having a different hole size, wherein the superabsorbent particles that are smaller than the holes of the particular screen deck (7) fall through the holes and the superabsorbent particles that remain on the screen deck (7) are removed via a removal point (17). There are balls (14) on each hole plate (13), which balls jump up as a result of the motion of the hole plate (13) and hit the particular screen deck (7) lying thereabove from below, wherein the balls (14) have a stiffness in the range of 40 to 100 N/mm and a damping in the range of 1 to 4%. The invention further relates to a machine (1) for carrying out the method.

The invention relates to a sieve (1) comprising a first stationary portion, receiving the screens, and a second portion (101) referred to as the cover, translatable (F3) between a first position of closure of the opening of the first portion and a second opening position enabling access to the screens. The invention comprises a first stationary transverse walkway (13) located at the bottom portion of the sieve and suitable for providing access to a first screen when the cover (101) is in the open configuration and to provide access from one side of the sieve to the other only when the cover (101) is in the closed configuration. It comprises at least one second transverse walkway (25) movable between a first position that prohibits access to at least a second screen when the cover (101) is closed and a second position, referred to as the active position, in which the second walkway (25) defines an access path to at least a second screen when the cover (101) is open, the second transverse walkway (25) also defining, in the active position, an access from one side of the sieve to the other, above the first transverse walkway (13).

Invention refers to quality control system for detection and identification of insects, pests and the like in such product like cereals, seed, grains and the like. The Quality control system comprises a sample collecting device (1) for collecting a sample in pre-determined amount from a product (P) to be tested, a self-cleaning cyclone filter (2) for cleaning the sample, a vibro separator (3) for separation of the sample in pre-determined sizes or grades, a heating chamber (4) for heating the sample separated in the vibro separator. The system further comprises an identification device (5) for detection and identification of live insects, pests and the like in said sample.

Beim Trocknen von organischen Festbrennstoffen, insbesondere von Waldhackschnitzeln, mittels Trocknung des Festbrennstoffs in einer Trocknungs-vorrichtung ( 4 ) mittels eingeblasener Trocknungsluft, wobei der Festbrennstoff während der Trocknung umgewälzt wird, sodass die Trocknungsluft den Festbrennstoff durch-strömt, wird erfindungsgemäß dabei die Zufuhrmenge an Festbrennstoff pro Zeiteinheit so geregelt, dass entweder die Abluft eine bestimmte Abluft-Ziel aufweist oder der aus der Trocknungsvorrichtung ( 4 ) austretende Festbrennstoff eine Restfeuchte von 13-15 % aufweist.

A method and system for processing and recycling infill material of artificial turf. The invention includes drying extracted infill material through a fluid bed dryer, the fluid bed dryer passing a process gas through a bed of solids via a perforated plate. The dried infill material is processed using a plurality of vibrating screens to remove excessively large or small particles from the infill material. The plurality of vibrating screens may be a set of progressively finer mesh screens. The processed infill material is separated by density. The density of the infill material may be determined by a high intensity, uniform sheet of laminar airflow. The separated infill material is discharged and is ready to be used again in another artificial turf. In one embodiment, the infill material includes at least one of graded sand, granulated styrene-butadiene rubber, cork, organic infill, thermoplastic elastomers, or ethylene propylene diene monomers.
