Nach dem Einschalten des Linearmotors (14) wird durch das elektromagnetische Wanderfeld das Entgratmittel (13) bewegt und verwirbelt. Die Werkstücke (12) werden mit dem Entgratmittel (13) beaufschlagt und dadurch entgratet. Durch die Größe der felderzeugenden Spannung kann die Verwirbelung (15) des Entgratmittels (13) und damit die Entgratwirkung variiert werden. Auch im Werkstück enthaltene kleine gratbehaftete Durchbrüche werden nach und nach entgratet.
