    摘要: The invention concerns a device which comprises a saw blade holder (24) and a grinding slide (30) supporting a profiled grinding wheel (38) and moving in reciprocating strokes relative to the saw blade holder (24). The device also comprises a feed slide (40) which advances the saw blade (10) gradually in the saw blade holder (24). Disposed on the device is a dressing template (50) which is normally in a rest position but can be moved at intervals into an operating position in which the grinding wheel (38) is dressed as a result of penetrating the dressing template (50). The feed slide (40) can be deactivated during the dressing intervals. The stroke of the grinding slide (30) can be reset according to the decrease in radius of the grinding wheel (38) brought about by the dressing step each time before the grinding wheel plunges into the saw blade (10). As a result, dressing of the grinding wheel (38) is simplified and the time required for each dressing operation shortened.

    摘要: The invention concerns a device which comprises a saw blade holder (24) and a grinding slide (30) supporting a profiled grinding wheel (38) and moving in reciprocating strokes relative to the saw blade holder (24). The device also comprises a feed slide (40) on which a feed finger (48) can move out of a rest position into an entrainment position in which, when the feed slide (40) has moved back, the feed finger (48) engages behind a tooth (12) of a saw blade (10) and entrains the latter during the next feed movement. During dressing intervals, the feed finger (48) can be secured in its rest position. A dressing tool (50) is disposed on the feed slide (40) such that said tool can be moved out of a rest position into a dressing position during the dressing intervals. A control system is associated with the grinding slide (30) and the feed slide (40). The control system can be switched from a grinding mode, in which the movements of the two slides are co-ordinated according to the contour of the saw teeth, to a dressing mode in which the movements of the two slides are co-ordinated according to the contour of the grinding wheel (38). As a result, dressing of the grinding wheel (38) is simplified and the time required for each dressing operation shortened.
