摘要: Process for joining a foil or a membrane. The invention relates to a method for joining at least one foil-like or membrane-like part to a structural part (9), wherein the foil-like or membrane-like part is separated by means of a tool (2) from a semi-finished product (3) and is held on the tool (2) by applying a reduced pressure, and wherein the foil-like or membrane-like part is placed on the structural part (9), and is in turn held on this (9) and joined to this (9) by applying a reduced pressure. By means of the method a precise, reliable and readily automatable joining of a foil-like or membrane-like part to a structural part (9) is possible. A device (1) is also proposed, with which the method according to the invention can readily be carried out.

摘要: A machine for processing plates, for example plates of glass, natural or synthetic stone material or slabs of wood or other suitable materials, comprises- a conveying device for advancing a plate (L) to be processed in a substantially vertical position along a first horizontal X direction, into and out from a processing station (W). The processing station (W) comprises at least a first plate machining head (H1) for machining the plate (L), movable along a second substantially vertical Y direction, and including a motorized spindle which can be coupled at least with a milling tool (U), which can be used to mill the plate (L) along a predetermined path, so as to form an opening (A1, A2) in the plate, with resulting removal of a portion of the plate (P) constituting a processing waste. The machine further comprises at least one suction-cup gripping member (V,S) for gripping said plate portion (P) constituting the processing waste, which can be activated by depression and is displaceable from a retracted position to an advanced position for engaging said plate portion (P) that must be removed as a result of said milling operation, before that the milling operation is terminated.

摘要: This invention provides a system and method for aligning, feeding, trimming, slitting, rotating, cross-slitting and stacking sheets, each containing one or more discrete page images thereon that allows for greater automation of the overall process so that reduced or no manual intervention is required to generate completed book stacks or "blocks" from a stream or stack of printed sheets. Sheets are fed to a first, upstream trimming station (720) to remove margin edges and optionally separate the sheets relative to the discrete page images. The sheets are then rotated 90 degrees and fed to a second, downstream trimming station (3770, 4880, 4910) that trims the right-angle edges and optionally separates the sheets into a final group of full-bleed pages, removing margins and gutter strips.; The sheets are fed to a stacking assembly (780, 3790) to be stacked in page order and any rejected, defective sheets or stacks are removed from the order.
