    摘要: The electromechanical writing pen actuator comprises a carriage (4) slideable and oscillating on a guiding bar (5). The carriage (4) supports, orthogonally to the bar (5), rods (17) on which a pen-holder arm (24) is slideable. A movement system composed of step motors (2,3), pulleys (19,22,40,41,46,49,50) and flexible cables (12,20) causes movement of the pen on a cartesian plane. An electromagnet (45) is adapted to cause oscillation of the carriage and therefore the engagement and disengagement of the pen with and from the workplane.

A lift motor (68) is mounted on the tool carriage and connected to the support (60) for moving the support and the tool (F) between the elevated and lowered positions. A drive motor is connected with the tool carriage and the support for moving the tool and the sheet material an the feed roller (20) relative to one another. Controls are connected with the drive motor and the lift motor (68) for controlling the tool and sheet material movements during cutting and plot­ting operations.

The drawing drive unit 14 moves in at least three directions by varying a relative positional relationship between the writing implement held by the writing-implement hold unit 12 and the paper held by the paper hold unit 13. With this movement, the drawing drive unit 14 draws characters like those written by a person with a writing implement.
