    摘要： A dispenser for opening a tape like packaging comprising first and second films releasably connected to each other, forming envelopes sealed around an object, and disposed sequentially with a predetermined pitch. The dispenser comprises a space for holding a container of the packaging, a separator through which the packaging can be passed, for spreading apart and separating the films at an outlet thereof when a pulling force is acting on said first and second films, thereby opening envelopes and releasing the objects contained therein, and means for winding up separated first and second films of the tape like packaging. The separator further comprises a cover member that is articulated to the dispenser to be movable between a closed position and an open position.

    摘要： A system for processing an envelope containing contents has stations (108, 109) for opening envelopes, and a checking station (110) for checking contents of envelopes. The opening station (108) comprises a cutter (22, 23) and a drive mechanism (25, 26) to separately cut opposed leaves of the envelope. The cutter comprises a wheel (22, 23) for cutting through each of the leaves, and the drive mechanism (24, 26, 25, 27) rotates the wheel (22, 23) and causes it to traverse across the envelope. There is a separate wheel (22, 23) for each envelope leaf and the drive mechanism simultaneously drives the wheels to cut both leaves simultaneously. The cutter comprises a separator (20, 21) for drawing the leaves away from each other so that they are separated from the contents during cutting. The separator comprises at least one suction cup (20, 21) for engaging the leaf and drawing it away from the plane of the contents; and there are opposed suction cups (20, 21). The separator simultaneously draws the leaves in opposing directions away from the contents.

Auf der dem Förderband (11) gegenüberliegenden Seite des Briefumschlaginhaltes, d.h. der Bedienungsperson zugekehrt, befindet sich eine nicht oderschwer drehbare Verzögerungsrolle (13), die gegen den ihr zugekehrten Briefumschlaginhalt drückbar ist. Die Bewegung der Verzögerungsrolle erfolgt vorzugsweise durch einen Elektromagneten (14). Die Friktion zwischen der Verzögerungsrolle und dem ihr zugekehrten Inhalt ist wesentlich größer als die Friktion zwischen den beiden Inhalten, so daß der vordere, der Verzögerungsrolle zugekehrte Inhalt gebremst, während der hintere Inhalt durch das Transportband vorgezogen wird. Die Bedienungsperson kann dann erkennen, ob überhaupt ein weiterer Inhalt vorhanden und ob dieser richtig orientiert ist und entsprechende Schritte einleiten. Hinter dem ersten Transportschlitz (3) mit Förderband (11) kann einzweiter paralleler Transportschlitz (2) mit Transportband (10) für aufgeklappte und entleerte Briefumschläge vorgesehen sein.
