    摘要: The invention relates to a spring strut mount (1), comprising a damper element and a bearing housing (2, 3), with a first (2) and a second (3) housing part, wherein the housing parts (2, 3) can be screwed to one another by means of a thread in a manner which encloses the damping element, wherein the housing parts (2, 3) have a latching device (5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13) which makes screwing together possible but prevents release of the thread. The invention is based on the problem of improving a spring strut mount (1) in such a way that the housing parts (2, 3) cannot detach from one another during operation. Said problem is solved by virtue of the fact that the housing parts (2, 3) have a latching device (5, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13) which makes screwing together possible but prevents release of the thread.

    摘要: According to the present invention there is provided a top mount assembly (20) including a housing (28) for being connected to the frame of the vehicle. A rod connection assembly (42) is disposed in the housing for being attached to a piston rod (26) of the damper assembly. A chamber (66, 68) is defined between the rod connection assembly and the housing for receiving a fluid. A resilient member (44) is disposed between the rod connection assembly and the housing. A partition assembly is positioned between the resilient member and the housing and axially divides the chamber into an upper chamber region (66) and a lower chamber region (68). The partition assembly defines at least one passage (109) that extends between the upper chamber region and the lower chamber region. At least one electromagnetic coil (114) is disposed adjacent to the passage for selectively modifying the characteristics of the fluid passing through the passage to modify the damping characteristics of the top mount assembly.

    摘要: A jounce bumper is used in a suspension system of a vehicle. The jounce bumper comprises an outer member comprising a base portion and a sidewall extending from said base portion. The sidewall of the outer member is flexible relative to the base portion. The base portion and the sidewall define a cavity such that the outer member has a cup-shaped configuration. A bumper is at least partially seated within the cavity of the outer member. The bumper is compressible into the cavity of the outer member such that the bumper expands against the sidewall of the outer member, which forces the sidewall of the outer member to flex and expand radially outward. An isolation layer is disposed on the base of the outer member outside of the cavity and separates the outer member from either the strut assembly or the frame member.
