The securement assembly comprises a first element (31), carrying a cylindrical thread of a first hand, a second spacer element (35) carrying a thread of the first hand and threadedly engaged with the first element (31) such that relative rotation moves the first and second elements (31, 35) axially relative to one another, and a third element (40) engageable with the second element (35) one of the second and third elements has a cylindrical recess and the other of the second and third elements has a shaft, one of the recess and the shaft being unthreaded (36) and the other of the recess and the shaft being threaded (42) such that engagement of the shaft and recess causes a thread to form in the previously unthreaded shaft or recess. The thread of the shaft or recess is of hand opposite to the first hand. The arrangement for securement in use is such that first element (31) and the support member are held in a fixed relationship, engagement of the third element (40) through the support member and with the second element (35) and relative rotation of the third element (40) and second element (35) in a thread forming direction causes rotation of the second element (35) relative to the first element (31) to draw the second element (35) out of the first element (31) until the second element (35) abuts the support member. Further relative rotation of the third element (40) and second element (35) in the same direction forms a thread in the previous unthreaded recess (36) or shaft until a stop portion of the third element (40) engages the support member to clamp the support member between the stop portion and the second element.

    摘要: Adjustable fastening element (2) intended to be fitted to an end region of a transverse member (14) of a vehicle chassis. The fastening element takes the form of a U-section element with a web portion (4) of preferably uniform width and with mutually parallel flanges (6, 8) protruding from opposite side edges of this web portion. Each flange has running through it at least one oblong slitlike aperture (10), or has running through it two or more mutually mutually aligned holes, for a (12) fastening means, particularly a fastening bolt or fastening screw, whereby the fastening element can be fixed to the transverse member. The fastening element (2) can be fitted straddling the end region of the transverse member (14), in one of various different positions relative to the end region of the member, with the flanges (6, 8) of the fastening element abutting against opposite side surfaces of the transverse member. The fastening element is fitted partly protruding axially beyond the end surface (16) of the transverse member to form an extension element to the transverse member.

    摘要: Ein Cockpitquerträger (1) in einem Kraftfahrzeug ist im Vorbau auf Höhe einer Instrumententafel in Fahrzeugquerrichtung ausgerichtet und mit je einem Ende (2,3) an gegenüberliegenden Aufbauteilen (4,5) des Kraftfahrzeuges festgelegt, wobei der Cockpitquerträger (1) einen rohrartigen Grundträger (6) umfaßt, an dem wenigstens ein Halteelement (7,8,9) zur Anbringung von Fahrzeugfunktionselementen und seitliche Befestigungskonsolen (10) angebracht sind. Zur Schaffung eines Cockpitquerträgers (1), der bei einfachem Aufbau für mehrere unterschiedliche Fahrzeuge einer Fahrzeugfamilie einsetzbar ist und mit dem ferner große Toleranzen ausgleichbar sind, ist vorgesehen, daß auf einen Grundträger (6) definierter Länge ein oder mehrere Halteelemente (7,8,9) und die beiden seitlichen Befestigungskonsolen (10) aufschiebbar und in der vorgesehenen Position mittels Klemmbefestigungen (12) festlegbar sind, wobei die Halteelemente (7,8,9) und die Befestigungskonsolen (10) den Grundträger (6) bereichsweise nahezu vollständig umschließen.
