    摘要： A container for a material, wherein the container has a body, a base, and a lid is presented. The base may be with or without a tamper-evident feature, depending on requirements, while the lid is made preferably of a clear, transparent plastic. The body has a bottom and a tubular element defining sides of the body and extending upwardly from a periphery of the bottom. An upper portion of the tubular element forms an aperture of the body. The base has an externally directed annular protrusion which engages a recess in the aperture-forming portion of the tubular element of the body. In this way, a permanent seal is made at the top of the body after filling with the material. A lid is adapted to removably engage a top portion of the base.

    摘要： A tamper evident container (100) comprises a base (104) forming a compartment (105), and a lid (102) arranged to reversibly open and close the compartment (105). A gripping flap (106) extending outwardly from a periphery of the lid (102) is provided, the gripping flap (106) being connected to the lid (102) and hence to the base (104) via a rupturable portion (108) and a non-rupturable portion (110). The lid (102) is at least partially separable from the base (104) to open the compartment (105), the lid (102) being connected to the base (104) in such a way that the compartment (105) may be opened by pulling the gripping flap (106). The gripping flap (106) is accessible by two fingers when the rupturable portion (108) is unbroken, and the rupturable portion (108) is breakable when the gripping flap (106) is pulled. Opening of the compartment (105) by pulling the gripping flap (106) requires a force which is larger than the force required to break the rupturable portion (108), whereby it is ensured that the rupturable portion (108) is broken before the compartment (105) is opened.

    摘要： A shaped generally rigid, polymeric sealed package having an ordered set of bacon pieces (25) is provided. The ordered pieces (25) can be provided as multiple arrays (23, 24) of bacon strips, whether whole, partial or broken slices. Each array (23, 24) can include a plurality of bacon pieces (25) with a flexible sheeting (30) positioned between vertically adjacent bacon piece arrays. Corresponding slices from respective arrays (23, 24) are in general vertical alignment with each other so as to form multiple stacks of bacon pieces (25). A generally rigid cover or pedestal (22; 22a; 22b; 22d; 82; 92) is releasably hermetically secured to a rigid tray or bubble (21; 21a; 21b; 21d; 81; 91). Package walls are substantially transparent so that the consumer can readily inspect, prior to purchase, multiple entire lengths of bacon slice surfaces. The package is especially advantageous when the bacon pieces (25) are in the form of partially-to-fully-cooked slices or slice portions. The bacon pieces (25) are supported in their ordered set configuration by engagement, directly or indirectly, with interior surfaces of the sealed package.
