In order to provide a methacrylic resin composition that maintains all of physical properties such as excellent solvent resistance, heat resistance, mechanical strength, and stringing resistance, and has particularly excellent fluidity and also heat stability, the present invention provides a methacrylic resin composition that satisfies conditions (I) through (IV) and includes two types of methacrylic resins having mutually different peak molecular weights. (I) The weight ratio of methyl methacrylate units in the methacrylic resin is greater than 98.5 wt% with respect to 100 wt% of all monomer units. (II) The HP value indicating the higher peak molecular weight satisfies the expression 180,000 ≤ HP ≤ 220,000. (III) The LP value indicating the lower peak molecular weight satisfies the expression 24,000 ≤ LP ≤ 35,000. (IV) The PR value indicated by a/b, where a is the value indicating peak height in the HP and b is the value indicating peak height in the LP on a differential molecular weight distribution curve, satisfies the expression 1.32 ≤ PR ≤ 1.60.

Disclosed are a heat-resistant SAN resin, a method of preparing the same, and a heat-resistant ABS resin composition comprising the same. More particularly, a heat-resistant SAN resin comprising 60 to 75 wt% of α-methylstyrene, 25 to 35 wt% of a vinyl cyan compound, and 0 to 10 wt% of an aromatic vinyl compound (except for α-methylstyrene), the heat-resistant SAN resin having a degree of branching of 0.40 to 0.60, a molecular weight of 90,000 to 150,000 g/mol, and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of 124 to 140°C, a method of preparing the same, and a heat-resistant ABS resin composition comprising the same are disclosed. According to the present invention, a heat-resistant SAN resin having excellent heat resistance and productivity, and excellent improvement effects for heat resistance, environmental crack resistance, color, and processability when applied to an ABS resin, a method of preparing the same, and a heat-resistant ABS resin composition comprising the same are disclosed.

The present disclosure is directed towards a solution or bulk polymerization process for preparing high-cis polydienes that utilizes at least one vinyl aromatic compound as a molecular weight regulator. The disclosed solution or bulk polymerization processes are useful for preparing high-cis polydienes with a Mooney viscosity between 30 and 55 while allowing the use of lower amounts of catalyst.
