    Abstract: A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide an antifouling coating composition that has a high antifouling capability against aquatic organisms while being excellent in safety and environmental responsiveness, and to provide an antifouling coating film using the antifouling coating composition, a substrate having an antifouling coating film that is the antifouling coating film and a method for producing the same, and an antifouling method using the antifouling coating film. An antifouling coating composition containing a curable organopolysiloxane (A) and a glycerin condensate ester (B) represented by the following formula (1):

    in the formula (1), n represents an integer of 2 or more and 20 or less, and R each independently represent a hydrogen atom or R 1 C(=O)-, provided that at least one of R represents R 1 C(=O)-, in which R 1 represents a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 7 or more and 23 or less carbon atoms.

    Abstract: A biocide- and ammonia-free aqueous polymer dispersion is obtained by radically initiated multi-stage emulsion polymerization and comprising particles comprising at least a first polymer phase formed from a monomer composition I and a second polymer phase from a different monomer composition II. The first polymer phase has a glass transition temperature below 20°C, and the second polymer phase has a glass transition temperature above 20°C, both as determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to ISO 16805. The polymer dispersion further comprises at least one water-soluble alkali metal silicate, at least one water-soluble alkali metal or alkaline earth metal alkyl siliconate, or a mixture thereof and has a pH of 10.0 or higher.

    Abstract: Provided is a substrate treatment agent capable of provide a metal material with preferable adhesiveness, acid resistance, and alkali resistance to a laminate film. For the substrate treatment agent, the concentration of a water-soluble metal compound is 500-200,000 mass ppm in terms of metal atoms, a water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic resin has a number average molecular weight of 70,000-500,000, the solid content has an acid value of 150-740 mgKOH/g and a hydroxyl value of 40-350 mgKOH/g, the water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic resin has a glass transition temperature in the range of 63-100°C, the concentration of the water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic resin is 500-200,000 mass ppm in terms of solid content, and the ratio of the concentration of the water-soluble metal compound in terms of metal atoms to the concentration of the water-soluble or water-dispersible acrylic resin is 3/97-91/9. The substrate treatment agent is used in the manufacture of laminated metal materials.
