A process for providing one or more thermoset polymeric materials onto an object is disclosed wherein said process comprises at least the following steps: - Providing a polymeric composition having a viscosity > 10 Pa.s at room temperature comprising at least one cross-linkable polymeric material; and then - Optionally heating the polymeric composition to achieve a liquid cross-linkable polymeric composition having a viscosity below 4 Pa.s, and then - Depositing the polymeric composition onto an object using a spray, swirl or extrusion nozzle and wherein the deposition is performed while the object and/or nozzle are moving to create an object at least partly coated with said polymeric composition; and then - Optionally cooling down the at least partly coated object to room temperature, and then - Optionally repeating one of foregoing steps, and then - Applying a cross-linking treatment selected from radical curing, UV curing and/or heat treatment in order to convert the cross-linkable polymeric material(s) into thermoset polymeric material(s).

A compositions comprising a self-crosslinkable aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane polymer having pendant auto-oxidizable functional groups is disclosed, said composition obtainable by reacting: (a) an organic polyisocyanate; (b) an isocyanate reactive compound containing pendant fatty acid unsaturation; (c) an isocyanate reactive polymeric polyol containing neutralizable pendant carboxylic acid groups; and (d) a reactive diluent containing at least two polymerizable, ethylenically unsaturated double bonds. The obtained polyurethane dispersion is suitable for application in self-curing coating compositions.

There are disclosed urethane acrylates of Formula (1) : where R1a, R1b and R1c each independently represent C2-15hydrocarbylene, preferably linear C3-12alkylene (such as , C4-8alkylene; e.g. hexylene); a isophorone unit and/or a tolyl unit. R2a, R2b and R2c each independently represent: a divalent moiety of Formula (2) where X and Y independently represent C2-10hydrocarbylene, preferably C2-8alkylene; and k is from O to 30; I is from O to 30; and 'k + I' is from 1 to 30; and/or a divalent moiety of Formula (3) where V and W independently represent C2-10hydrocarbylene, preferably C2-8alkylene; and i is from 0 to 30; j is from 0 to 30; and 'i + j' is from 1 to 30; p is from 1 to 10; and r is from 1 to 10; and R3a R3b and R3c each independently represent H or methyl (i.e. R3 forms respectively part of an acrylate or a methacrylate group); with the provisos that at least one of R2a, R2b and R2c is a moiety of Formula (2); at least one of R2a, R2b and R2c is a moiety of Formula (3); and when R2 represents a divalent moiety of Formula (3), the sub moiety within Formula (3), is attached directly to the amide group in Formula (1).
