This invention relates to novel polyether polyols and to a process for their production. These polyether polyols are prepared by forming a polyhydroxyl group containing component in a first step by the reaction of a triazole-group containing compound with a compound that contains at least one functional group that is capable of reacting with the amine groups of the triazole group containing compound, and reacting the hydroxyl-group containing component with an alkylene oxide to form the polyether polyol of the invention. The present invention also relates to isocyanate-reactive compositions comprising these novel polyether polyols, and to a process for the production of a polyurethane comprising reacting a polyisocyanate with the novel polyether polyols of the present invention.

The invention relates to novel bis-iminoazacyclo pentane polyols according to formula (1), wherein R1 = H, alkyl or R4, whereby R4 is OH, hydroxyalkyl, hydroxyaryl or hydroxyaralkyl and R?2 and R3¿ are independently of one another, OH, hydroxyalkyl, hydroxyaryl or hydroxyaralkyl which are obtainable by reaction of succinonitrile with a hydroxyalkylamine, to polyols obtained on the basis of such compounds, in which a polyether, a polyester or a venyl-polymer or combinations thereof are also incorporated, and to polymers in which said polyols are incorporated. Polyurethane foam in which 1-(hydroxyethyl)-2,5-bis-(2-hydroxyethylimino)-azacyclopentane is incorporated shows a higher mechanical strength and reduced inflammability, whilst the formulation has an increased reactivity.

The cationic polymers are useful as textile softeners and for enhancing substantivity and durability of active compounds co-deposited onto textiles with the cationic polymers. Also provided is a method for forming said cationic polymer, a textile treatment composition and a textile treated with said textile treatment composition.

The method consists in profiling a part of a cylindrical pipe by drawing it through a forming instrument and in reducing the pipe along its whole length so that the diameter of the cylindrical section of the pipe is equal to the diameter of the circumscribed circle of its profiled section. The device for implementing the method comprises, mounted on a drawing bench, a reducing die (2) secured in a casing (1) and a drawing carriage. In front of the reducing die (2), on both sides of the passage of the pipe (5) to be made, are mounted cams (6) provided on their ends with forming rolls (7) and on the other ends with fork-shaped levers (8) co-operating with the drawing carriage by means of a tie-rod (11) with slots (10) in which are mounted locks (9) interacting with the fork-shaped levers (8). The device further comprises a rotatable lever (29) provided with a support roller (31) and mounted on the casing (1). One arm of the lever (29) co-operates through a support roller (31) with the pipe (5) to be profiled and the other arm is provided with hingedly secured stops (26) periodically interacting with the cams (6).

Die Vorrichtung zur Realisierung des Verfahrens enthält, auf einer Ziehbank montiert, einen in einem Gehäuse (1) installierten Ziehstein (2) und einen Ziehwagen. Vor dem Ziehstein (2) befinden sich auf beiden Seiten der Bewegungsbahn des in Bearbeitung befindlichen Rohrs (5) Nocken (6), an deren einen Enden Verformungsrollen (7) und an den anderen Enden Gabelhebel (8) befestigt sind, die mit dem Ziehwagen mit Hilfe einer mit Nuten (10) versehenen Ziehstange (11) in Wechselwirkung stehen, in denen Rasten (9) angebracht sind, die mit den Gabelhebel (8) zusammenwirken. Die Vorrichtung enthält einen Drehhebel (29) mit einer Stützrolle (31), der am Gehäuse (1) befestigt ist. Die Erfindung betrifft s-Triazinreste enthaltende Polyether-polyolmischungen mit einer Funktionalität von 2 bis 6 und einer Hydroxylzahl von 210 bis 640, die hergestellt werden durch Oxalkylierung einer Mischung aus einem oder mehreren Polyamino-1,3,5-triazinen, vorzugsweise Melamin, und mindestens einem 2- bis 6-wertigen aliphatischen und/oder cycloaliphatischen Alkohol mit 2 bis 18 Kohlenstoffatomen und/oder Wasser mit Alkylenoxiden in Abwesenheit von Katalysatoren und üblichen inerten, polaren Lösungsmitteln. Die erhaltenen Polyether-polyolmischungen eignen sich zur Herstellung von Kunststoffen, vorzugsweise harten Polyurethan- oder Urethangruppen enthaltenden Polyisocyanuratschaumstoffen, nach dem Polyisocyanat-polyadditionsverfahren.
